Cutterbar: Strong from the start - To achieve ideal results, everything must fit together from the start. That’s why all Fendt IDEAL combines work with the latest generation of world-renowned DynaFlex cutterbars.
DynaFlex platform – The ideal benefits for your harvest: The combine cab features pressure and reel adjustments, as well as angle adjustment and memory for conveyor height and speed, providing intuitive drivability. For greater cutting precision, the rollers and knives are mounted in opposing positions, with two cutting height and maneuver height memories, delivering close, precise cutting. Regarding transportability, the platform ranges from 35' to 50', with a built-in transport cart. The Fendt IDEAL combine has the largest flexible travel on the market, adapting to different harvesting conditions and ensuring greater efficiency.
DynaFlex platform – Always in the right position: Thanks to the TerraControl™ header guidance, even larger platforms are perfectly controlled. TerraControl™ automatically keeps a perfect distance and tilt relative to the ground. Several functions work together for an ideal result, including working height adjustment, zero position, contact pressure, various preset cutting heights, lift during reversal, reel speed, and position management – all fully automatic.
Processor: The unique helix processor
What clearly distinguishes the Fendt IDEAL combine from others is the excellent single or dual helix processor. The helix processor concept combines market requirements, such as highest throughput, best grain quality, and low energy consumption.
Helix processor simply unique: All rotor components, such as impact bars and rotor fingers, are arranged in four rows as a helix structure. The rotor fronts consist of four longitudinally mounted impact bars that release the grains. They can be quickly and easily replaced from the side, depending on the application. The concave gap, up to 35 mm, is hydraulically adjustable. The rotor fingers are inclined 20° backward. As a result, the crop is divided into sections and reliably and gently guided around the rotor. There are no unexpected load peaks on the rotor and no edges where material accumulates.
RotorFeeder feed system: The 600 mm RotorFeeder feed drum transfers the crop from below to the rotors, contributing decisively to the ideal threshing result. Depending on the rotor speed, the RotorFeeder speed is proportionally controlled independently by the system and is always 70% of rotor speed. The perfect match between feed and rotor speed, and the generously designed transfer area, mean significantly less power consumption. The ideal transfer ensures a constant material flow.
Smooth feeding, low energy demand: The height of individual rotor fingers is 140 mm. This ensures ideal grain separation without excessive straw damage in a very small space. This ensures high straw quality and better threshing with low power requirements. The threshing system is also characterized by simple adjustment: the operator only needs to change the rotor speed range and concave spacing.
Cleaning: The IDEAL cleaning system is excellent
To ensure that only clean grain reaches the tank, Fendt IDEAL combines feature the unique and ingeniously simple IDEAL cleaning system.
Triple fan cleaning system: The powerful Cyclone cleaning fan consists of three units with open sides for maximum airflow. The fan speed can be hydraulically adjusted between 250 and 1400 rpm. This allows different speeds to be achieved quickly and efficiently. The strong airflow is divided from the first drop stage, creating uniform air flow along the entire sieve box length, ensuring the best cleaning results.
Separate returns: The dedicated returns system ensures maximum performance and best processing. The material is threshed by an auger and transferred to the pan, ensuring no processor separation capacity is wasted. Threshing occurs between the auger and interchangeable covers, which are toothed or smooth, depending on the desired intensity.
Cleaning System: The combine harvester is able to distribute material more efficiently over the cleaning system thanks to its large capacity. The Fendt IDEAL also features a dual cascade system focused on primary cleaning and air distribution along the entire length of the sieve. The deflectors with pre-cleaning adjustment provide a uniform material flow. And last but not least, if the harvest takes place on sloped terrain, the curved sections offer an inclination of up to 15%.
Cleaning: Residue Distribution: The Fendt IDEAL combine harvester features a system that ensures homogeneous residue distribution across the entire width of the header (35 to 50 feet). It has a straw spreader positioned directly at the end of the cleaning system, distributing straw and chaff as desired. The distribution discs are hydraulically driven, with variable speed adjustment. It also has a manual position adjustment. All material that passes through the processor goes to the 56-knife straw chopper. It consists of 4 rows of serrated knives and counter-knives adjustable in 5 positions, changing the chop size. The IDEAL straw chopper features dual-speed drive — low speed at 850 rpm for corn and beans, and high speed at 3600 rpm for soybeans. At the end of the straw chopper, there is the ActiveSpread distributor or manual straw deflectors. The system operates with two hydraulic straw distributors on the sides, whose speed, spreading width, and mirroring function can be adjusted from the cab. The left and right sides can always be adjusted independently to compensate for wind, for example. The spinners accelerate and spread the material. The spreading direction can automatically change at each headland, maximizing both the quantity and quality of straw for ground cover. Recommended for 35- to 50-foot headers. It also has 8 central straw deflectors, where with the manual straw distributor, you can adjust the deflector plates manually, whereas with ActiveSpread, the deflectors can be adjusted electrically from the cab.

With the efficient and reliable AGCO Power and MAN engines and proven transmission technology, the Fendt IDEAL combine is equipped for any application. Beyond comfortable and efficient operation, reliability is its absolute strength.
Reversible engines and fans – MAN and AGCO Power engines: To form the best overall package, four different engines also power the three different Fendt IDEAL combine models, perfectly matched to the potential output of the IDEAL 7, 8, and 9. Maximum fuel efficiency can only be achieved with an engine perfectly suited to the possible output. The IDEAL 7 is powered by a 9.8-liter AGCO Power engine with a powerful 481 hp, while two different MAN engines operate in the IDEAL 8 and IDEAL 9 models. All engines comply with Stage V emission standards and are characterized by long service intervals.
Revolutionary AirSense® cooling: To ensure that engines always operate efficiently and reliably, cooling is crucial. The AirSense® cooling system was developed for the Fendt IDEAL combine. The idea: maximum cooling capacity with minimal cleaning effort. AirSense® consists of a 950 mm reversible fan and a 2.7 m² cooling area. Air is drawn centrally through a radiator grille on the top side of the Fendt IDEAL. Depending on temperature and time, the fan automatically changes rotation direction and reliably cleans the radiator.
Fendt MotionShift speeds: The transmission of the Fendt IDEAL combine offers two speed ranges with speed coverage of 0-15 km/h and 0-40 km/h, respectively. Fendt MotionShift allows you to conveniently switch between both speeds while driving at the touch of a button on the armrest. You can control the speed via the multifunction joystick. In CVT mode, speed starts at 0 km/h. In the special “connection mode”, activated on the armrest, the Fendt IDEAL responds proportionally to joystick movements.
Cabin: The IDEAL workplace for you. The Fendt IDEAL combine offers a cabin with maximum comfort and the best possible overview of the header and all functions, making harvesting comfortable.
Cabin – Workplace with the best view: The Fendt VisionCab was developed to provide you with the perfect workplace with the best view. This is achieved by the 5.75 m² glass area and a 180° panoramic view. The low noise level creates a pleasant working atmosphere.
Cabin – Everything under control: At the heart of the simple and intuitive operation of the Fendt IDEAL combine is the armrest. Here you’ll find the practical joystick and toggle and sheet buttons for machine functions. There is also a small digital display for the most important machine settings. The 10.4" VARIOterminal also allows you to easily adjust the machine with a finger touch or, alternatively, at the press of a button.
Fendt Guide: With the Fendt Guide guidance system, you can choose between a variety of receivers from NovAtel® or Trimble®. Both offer a wide range of correction signals with accuracies up to +/- 2 cm. The NovAtel receiver keeps you on track with SBAS, TerraStar-L & C, and RTK correction signals. Choosing a Trimble receiver allows you to use SBAS, RangePoint RTX, CenterPoint™ RTX™, and RTK. And if you lose your RTK signal due to terrain, the VARIOGuide continues to work reliably for up to 20 minutes thanks to Trimble® xFill™ technology or NovAtel® RTK Assist.
NovAtel and Trimble: For both systems – NovAtel and Trimble – different correction signals are available, allowing you to keep working for some time even if the signal is lost.
