Regular price R$ 0,00

In this training, OCP's agronomic manager in Brazil, Salvador Gullo, provides an overview of the topic, ranging from a brief history of the beginning of the use of phosphate in the composition of fertilizers for agriculture, its types, influence of soil on efficiency, to the issue of adsorption and fixation of these phosphates.

What I will learn: In this training, you will learn the difference between imported reactive phosphates and domestic phosphates, from a historical background to the application of the topic in practice.

Topics covered:

Module 1:

  • Brief history of the use of FNR in the world and in Brazil;
  • Distribution of acidic soils in South and Central America;
  • Main crops with aptitude for the use of Imported Reactive Phosphates;
  • Degradation stage by under-fertilization of Brazilian pasture areas.

Module 2:

  • Types of Natural Phosphates (Igneous, Metamorphic and Sedimentary)
  • Photos of the deposits
  • Main characteristics that influence agronomic efficiency
    1. Specific surface area - ASE
    2. Isomorphic replacement rate
    3. Molar ratio between CO3; PO4
    4. Phosphate solubility in the main extractors due to the above characteristics

Module 3:

  • Soil factors that influence the efficiency of FNRs
    1. pH of the soil solution
    2. Excess Ca in solution
    3. Soil CTC (Clay + Organic Matter)
  • Indirect benefits of Imported Phosphates
    1. H consumption of the soil solution for its dissolution, raising the pH
    2. CO3 release during the dissolution of FNRs, raising the pH

Module 4:

  • Fixation / Adsorption of Mineral Phosphorus
  • Phosphorus absorption march by the main cultures
  • Comparative agronomic efficiency between PHOSACTIV from Morocco and the main FNRs on the market
  • Composition of PHOSACTIV® - High Reactivity Phosphate from Morocco
  • organic certification
  • Summary of the advantages of using PHOSACTIV
